Sell More Digital Products with Social Proof

Templates, presets, ebooks, memberships: let the people buying your work
sell it to the next visitor.

A digital product has no shelf, no box and no queue at the till. The visitor sees a price and a preview and has to guess whether anyone else thought it was worth it.

Purchases as they happen, the number sold this month and your follower counts are the queue at the till.

ProveSource shows the demand behind the buy button.

What to show on a creator storefront

  • Recent purchases. “Noah from Melbourne just bought Content OS”, with the product image and a link to it.
  • Sales counters. “1,840 products sold this month”, across the store or for one product.
  • Free downloads. Sample chapters and lead magnets count too: “just downloaded the free sample”.
  • Follower counts. Instagram, YouTube and X numbers in one notification.
  • Reviews and bundles. Customer quotes with ratings, and an informational notification for a bundle or launch discount.

Sales come in from Gumroad, Podia, Payhip, Lemon Squeezy, Kajabi, Stripe or PayPal through their webhooks or Zapier, and downloads from any form on the page. Product names and images come with the sale, so the notification links straight to the product.
