How to install ProveSource on Showit

  1. Create your ProveSource account

    Sign up for free and copy your ProveSource code snippet from the Install Code page.

  2. Open the page settings in Showit

    In the Showit builder, select the page name in the top left corner, then open the Advanced Settings tab in the Properties panel.

  3. Paste the code as Custom Head HTML

    Click the Custom Head HTML box, paste your ProveSource code and click Save, then publish your site.

  4. Create your first notification

    Visit your site once so ProveSource detects the code, then create a Recent Sales, Counter or Review notification in your dashboard.

Showit and ProveSource: questions

Will ProveSource slow down my site?
No. The script loads asynchronously, so it never blocks your page from rendering.
Where does the code go in Showit?
In the page's Advanced Settings, under Custom Head HTML. Add it to each page where notifications should appear.
Can I show notifications only on certain pages?
Yes. Each notification has display rules, so you can include or exclude pages by URL.
Is ProveSource free?
Yes. You can start on the free plan without a credit card and upgrade when you need more.
